If you meet all the eligibility criteria requirements, you can be entered into the Express Entry Program via Express Entry Draws and can apply in the 5 categories such as:

• Express Entry
• Provincial Nominee Program
• Family Class Immigration
• Business Immigration
• Canadian Experience Class

You will have meet the eligibility criteria for Canadian citizenship as:

• Must be 18 years of age
• Language efficiency in either English or French
• No criminal record
• Lived in Canada as a permanent residence for a minimum of 4 years and a minimum of 3 years lived in Canada during that period
• Lived in Canada for 2-5 years with no immigration related inquiries, investigations, or removal orders

• Student Visa
• Quebec Entrepreneur Visa
• Quebec Skilled Workers Visa
• Caregiver Visa

Federal Skilled Workers programs are designed and set forth by the Canadian government to attract and fill in employment demands that are not met being met by the current population demographic.

Via the Express Entry system, skilled workers can apply into the following three Skilled Workers Programs categories:

• Federal Skilled Trades Programs (FSTP)
• Federal Skilled Workers Program (FSWP)
• Canadian Experience Class (CEC)

6 months and an extension can be applied for thereafter for 3 months

No, you cannot work in Canada while on a temporary visa.
